Chapter 19
Graph node reference
Using this reference #
Find a node by family below or search the guide by its name. Audio carries audio blocks, Control carries control values, Signal carries sample-rate modulation, and Event carries timed note and performance events.
This is a source-reviewed draft. Node availability depends on the graph editor, connected inputs, project routing, and the existing add-on and Free or Pro requirements. A catalog entry does not establish successful operation on an installed build. Native verification is incomplete.
Some entries have a description pending verification. Their names are indexed so you can find them, but detailed operation instructions are withheld. See Patch Bay and Instrument and Effect Grids for graph setup and licensing.
Audio #
All-Pass #
All-Pass shifts phase using a short interpolated delay. Adjust Delay and Coefficient, or modulate them with typed Signals.
Connections: Stereo Audio in → stereo Audio out; Signal delaySamplesSignal (samples) and coefficientSignal (bipolar).
Audio Band #
Audio Band outputs a normalized selected-band level for visual simulation history. It does not modulate audio parameters; per-track use depends on selected-band history.
Connections: Control out; the shared source kind declares one mono Control output.
Audio In #
Audio In supplies the audio block provided to the current graph.
Connections: Stereo Audio out.
Audio Input Device #
Audio Input Device receives channels from the selected external input source; available channels depend on the host input route.

Control #
ADSR Envelope #
Draft: this envelope has source-reviewed modes; graph editing and routed playback remain unverified.
Source Mode selects Score ADSR or Gate A/H/R. Score ADSR is the default and reads the selected musical score source. Its operation has not been verified in this draft.
For a gate-driven envelope, choose Gate A/H/R and connect the Control gate input. Attack rises while the gate is high. Hold keeps the reached level after the gate falls, then Release lowers the level. The Attack, Hold and Release controls for this mode use milliseconds, from 0 to 2000. Timing follows forward transport movement; stopped or backward movement holds the current level.
Connections: Control gate in and Control out. The gate input applies to Gate A/H/R mode.
Bar Phase #

Signals and triggers #
Clock / Phasor #
Draft: these timing details have source review. Native controls, graph values and playback remain unverified.
Use the rate control to set the phasor frequency in Hz. The phase advances each sample and a wrap pulse marks completion of a cycle. In the reviewed source path, the declared clock input does not set or synchronize the rate. A high reset sets the phase to zero before that sample advances it, so it does not hold the phase output exactly at zero.
Connections: Signal Gate `clock`, Signal Gate `reset` → Continuous `phase`, Trigger `wrap`.
Clock Divider #
Draft: these timing details have source review. Native controls, graph values and playback remain unverified.
Clock Divider responds to rising trigger edges. The first edge after reset produces a pulse; subsequent pulses occur at the chosen division interval. Reset clears the count. A rising trigger in the same sample as reset can still produce the first pulse.
Connections: Signal Gate `trigger`, Signal Gate `reset` → Trigger `out`.
Counter #
Draft: these timing details have source review. Native controls, graph values and playback remain unverified.
Counter advances on rising trigger edges and outputs the count divided by the chosen span. Reaching the span produces a wrap pulse and returns the count output to zero. A high reset clears the count and prevents that sample from advancing it.

Connections: Continuous `in`, Continuous `index` → Continuous `out 1`…`out 8`.
Dynamic Mux #
Dynamic Mux — chooses input A or B from its Signal index. When that cable is disconnected, Index chooses A (0) or B (1).
Connections: Continuous `a`, `b`, `index` → Continuous `out`; Control parameter input `indexChoice` targets Index.
Dynamic Mux 8 #
Dynamic Mux 8 — chooses one of up to eight inputs using the rounded index. Set Inputs to limit the active choices.
Connections: Continuous `in 1`…`in 8`, Continuous `index` → Continuous `out`.
Euclidean Gate #
Euclidean Gate — creates a trigger pattern from Span and Fill and advances one pattern step for each incoming trigger. Fill is limited by Span.
Connections: Signal Gate `trigger`, Signal Gate `reset` → Trigger `out`.
Falling Edge #
Falling Edge — sends a one-sample trigger when the input gate falls.
Connections: Signal Gate `gate` → Trigger `trigger`.
Gate to Trigger #
Gate to Trigger — converts a gate’s rising edge into a one-sample trigger.
Connections: Signal Gate `gate` → Trigger `trigger`.
One Sample Delay #
One Sample Delay — outputs the previous sample and stores the current input for the next sample. Initial sets reset value; the magnitude limit applies to feedback cycles.
Connections: Continuous `in` → Continuous `previous`.
One Shot #
One Shot — lets one rising trigger through while armed, then waits until the arm input is high again.
Connections: Signal Gate `trigger`, Signal Gate `arm` → Trigger `out`.
Probability Gate #
Probability Gate — passes each incoming trigger according to Probability. Seed sets the repeatable random sequence.
Connections: Signal Gate `trigger` → Trigger `out`.
Pulse Width #
Pulse Width — stretches a rising trigger into a pulse for the selected number of samples. Reset cancels the pulse.
Connections: Trigger `trigger`, Gate `reset` → Trigger `pulse`.
Quality Region #
Quality Region — passes the signal through and marks its connected downstream Signal path for Native, 2×, or 4× processing quality. A Native region ends inherited higher-quality processing.
Connections: Continuous `in` → Continuous `out`.
Rising Edge #
Rising Edge — sends a one-sample trigger when the input gate rises.
Connections: Signal Gate `gate` → Trigger `trigger`.
Sample and Hold #
Sample and Hold — captures the current value when the trigger rises and holds it until the next rising edge.
Connections: Signal Gate `trigger`, Continuous `value` → Continuous `held`.
Signal Constant #
Signal Constant — outputs one steady 0–1 value.
Connections: Continuous `out`.
Signal Oscillator #
Signal Oscillator — generates a sine, saw, or square wave. Set frequency, amplitude, offset, and phase, or connect amplitude, frequency-in-hertz, and phase-in-cycles inputs.
Connections: Continuous `out`; Continuous `ampSignal` targets Amplitude; Hertz Continuous `fmHzSignal` targets Frequency; Cycles Continuous `phaseSignal` targets Phase.
Signal Sequencer #
Signal Sequencer — alternates between A and B on incoming trigger edges. Reset returns to A.
Connections: Signal Gate `trigger`, Signal Gate `reset` → Continuous `value`.
Signal Sequencer 16 #
Signal Sequencer 16 — plays up to 16 values from the selected loop range. Set step count, clock division, direction, loop bounds, and each step value; Run and Reset control playback.
Connections: Trigger `clock`, Gate `run`, Gate `reset` → Continuous `value`, Continuous `step`, Trigger `changed`.
Toggle #
Toggle — changes its output between low and high on each rising trigger.
Connections: Signal Gate `trigger` → Continuous `gate`.
Transport Signal #
Transport Signal — provides beat phase, beat pulse, bar phase, bar pulse, and a playing gate from the project transport.
Connections: Continuous `beat phase`, Trigger `beat`, Continuous `bar phase`, Trigger `bar`, Gate `playing`.
Triggered Random #
Triggered Random — holds a random 0–1 value and draws a new value on each rising trigger. Seed sets the repeatable sequence.
Connections: Signal Gate `trigger` → Continuous `value`.
Voice Broadcast #
Voice Broadcast — copies a global Signal value into each voice context. Use it when a per-voice destination needs a global source.
Connections: Global Continuous `global` → Voice Continuous `voice`.
Graph structure and project cards #
These are project-managed structural entries rather than ordinary processing nodes.
Annotation #
Annotation — add a text label to explain a section of the graph. It has no signal sockets.
Connections: No ports.
Device #
Device — a live project device card that opens its Instrument Grid or Effect Grid. The project supplies the card’s pins and routing.
Connections: The project supplies this device card’s pins.
Inlet #
Inlet — exposes one declared island input inside its graph. Add it while editing an island and connect it to the interior node that should receive that input.
Connections: Provides an island input to the nodes inside the island, using that input’s connection type.
Island #
Island — groups a graph into a reusable nested patch with declared inputs and outputs. The editor expands its contents into the runnable graph.
Connections: The inputs and outputs declared for the nested patch.
Outlet #
Outlet — exposes an interior signal as one declared island output. Add it while editing an island and connect the source that should leave the island.
