Where can I find the user guide?
Open the user guide to browse chapters or search the table of contents. The current edition status appears above the contents.

Where do I choose my audio device?
In standalone, open Settings > Audio > Audio Devices. In a hosted DonutStudio instance, choose hardware audio devices in the host DAW.
Why is Save unavailable after opening an example or external file?
Ordinary Save needs a library project. Use Save As New to create a named library copy. In a hosted instance, save the host DAW project.
Where can I restore a recovery snapshot?
Open Settings > System > Recovery and choose Restore from backup.... Choose a snapshot by timestamp and note/link count, then inspect and save the recovered work. Recovery snapshots are separate from library versions.

Do I purchase add-ons separately?
DonutStudio add-ons are not separate purchases. Pro is one bundle that unlocks the advanced controls and Pro systems described on the Buy page.
Where can I view the DonutStudio offer?

Where is the website account and license view?
Open the account page to access the website's account and license view.
Activation
Where do I enter an issued invite code or signed license key?
Open Settings > About > Activate License.... Enter the issued value in Code or key and choose Activate. Keep the code and key private, and check the result message and displayed license plan.
License and add-on help
Where does the app show Free or Pro?
Settings > About displays License plan: Free or License plan: Pro. Enabling an add-on or installing its runtime does not change the plan.
Does enabling an add-on purchase it?
No. Enable is a workspace preference. Optional runtime installation and an active Pro entitlement are separate checks. Pro is one bundle rather than a collection of separate add-on purchases.
