Three local models tag each file
Three WD-Tagger-V3 models identify objects, scenes, characters, and art styles. Each result includes confidence scores and one of five content ratings.
Filter and sort the masonry grid
Images fill a responsive column layout based on their aspect ratios. Filter by tags, ratings, resolution, orientation, or favorites. Sort by date, size, or shuffle randomly. Infinite scroll loads more as you browse.
Pair a phone with a QR code
The QR code carries the server address, a one-time nonce, and the TLS certificate fingerprint. The nonce expires after five minutes, and the phone pins the certificate for later sessions.
Built-in media server
Stream video with direct play when the device supports the format. Otherwise, LocalBooru can transcode with hardware acceleration and apply SVP frame interpolation.
Host your own gallery
Artists and photographers can publish their work directly from their own hardware. No middleman, no upload limits, no compression. Your visitors see exactly what you created, at full quality, on a server you control.
