LocalBooru — Your images, automatically tagged
Self-hosted image library that automatically tags, categorizes, and organizes your entire collection. Browse privately, share across your local network, or host publicly on your own terms.
AI tags everything for you
Three WD-Tagger-V3 vision models recognize thousands of visual concepts — objects, scenes, characters, art styles. Each image is tagged with confidence scores and rated on a 5-tier scale. Drop in a folder, get a fully searchable library.
Masonry grid that adapts to you
Images fill a responsive column layout based on their aspect ratios. Filter by tags, ratings, resolution, orientation, or favorites. Sort by date, size, or shuffle randomly. Infinite scroll loads more as you browse.
Scan a QR code, you're connected
Your server generates a QR code with its address, a one-time nonce, and its TLS certificate fingerprint. Scan it from your phone to establish a trusted connection — no accounts, no cloud. The nonce expires in 5 minutes and the certificate is pinned for future sessions.
Built-in media server
Stream video directly from your library with adaptive encoding, hardware-accelerated transcoding, and SVP frame interpolation. Direct play when your device supports the format, or transcode on the fly. Your own Plex — no subscription required.
Host your own gallery
Artists and photographers can publish their work directly from their own hardware. No middleman, no upload limits, no compression. Your visitors see exactly what you created, at full quality, on a server you control.
